Anokii means work )
Anokii
is our
most energetic and fun loving malamute yet. She turned 4 years old in
August 2009. She has a wonderful temperament which pleases us to no end.
She is extremely agile, intelligent, friendly to humans, other dogs and
has learned not to mess with cats.
Anokii
has proven to be an AMAZING mom. She did a great job with her first
two litters and all the puppies are growing up to be
wonderful dogs. Her third litter was just born October 10th, 2009.
We will be engaging her in many different
activities in the future to experience her full potential.

( Onishkaa means awaken )
Onishkaa
birthday is New Years Day. She is a bundle of
energy and we just love having her as part of our family. Long walks
in the woods are a daily occurance. The longer the better as far
as
Onishkaa is concerned.
Onishkaa
has become such a fun loving
energetic girl, most willing to work. She enjoys our one-on-one work
outs and aims to please. In September of 2009, she earned her first leg towards
her Work Dog (WD) title.
Onishkaa is learning to cart! Yay! Can't wait to parade around the neighbourhood with her and cart in tow.

Howling Pines Has Come to Shine
(
We call her Sunii )
Just as her name suggests, she
is warm and bright all the time. She's easy to work with and gets
along with everyone respectfully.
Sunii
has already started to earn her Work Dog title having worked for her first
leg on September 12-13, 2009 on an overnight hike and campout -- along with
her 1/2 sister
Onishkaa.
Both girls did amazing.
We are so proud. We are
excited to see her mature and are anxiously awaiting for her to become of
age for health certifications. In the meantime, we will have fun
with agility, hiking, backpacking, confirmation and maybe introduce her to
sledding this winter.
