Let us introduce you to Anokii & Onishkaa

Shelaskan's Works for Us ( Anokii means work )

Anokii is our most energetic and fun loving malamute yet. She will be 4 years old in August 2009. She has a wonderful temperament which pleases us to no end. She is extremely agile, intelligent, friendly to humans, other dogs and has learned not to mess with cats.

Anokii has proven to be an AMAZING mom. She did a great job with her first litter (born January 1st, 2008 ) and the puppies are growing up to be wonderful dogs.

We will be engaging her in many different activities in the future to experience her full potential. She will be doing agility and she will hopefully be seen in the conformation ring in 2009.

Anokii is usually close at hand !

Howling Pines' Rise n Shine ( Onishkaa means awaken )

Onishkaa will be turning ONE on New Years Day. She is a bundle of energy and we just love having her as part of our family. Long walks in the woods are a daily occurance. The longer the better as far as Onishkaa is concerned.

She is an exuberant pup ! Her energy mimics her mom's and she is soooo willing to please. Intelligent and agile, she is beginning to learn and enjoys agility and handling classes.

Personality plus ! She is soft mannered and very sweet with children, adults and other dogs. She has inherited her disregard for the command "leave the kitties" though from her mom. We are working on that !!!! Onishkaa is maturing very nicely. She should be ready for the show ring very soon !
