Our Boy BRONTE turned 14 Years Old February 2011

An Alaskan Malamute is a wonderful dog but not the right breed for everyone.

A male malamute is the above statement "times two".  Ask anyone who has ever been owned by a male mal. They will tell you it is an experience like no other.

Challenging at times ... but oh so rewarding !!

Ch. Shelaskan's Grand Bronte

Date of Birth :    February 19, 1997

Bronte means  Big Thunder

Shhh ... don't tell anyone .... but he's my favourite !

Bronte is a handsome, laid back, black and white boy with personality plus.  He is a Canadian champion.

At 14 years old (February 2011), he has slowed down a bit but can still kick up his heels and play some ball, or just throw it around by himself.  He can charm you to no end with his woo, woo, wooing and is always a favourite with visitors.  He has produced some beautiful puppies for us.

Breeding History :   Bronte produced a wonderful litter of 8 puppies with our girl Keisha.  They were born August 4, 2000.   Bronte is now retired from our Breeding Program.

► All health testing passed and up to date.

► Excellent temperament.

► The pedigrees are examined to make sure the match is appropriate.

► The structure and soundness of the dog are considered -- solid fronts, strong lines, nice gaits, handsome heads, good tails and so on.
