An Alaskan Malamute is a wonderful
dog but not the right breed for everyone.
A male malamute is the above
statement "times two".
Ask anyone who has ever been owned
by a male mal. They will tell you it is an experience
like no other.
Challenging at times ... but oh
so rewarding !!

Ch. Shelaskan's Grand Bronte
( Bronte means Big
Thunder )
Shhh ... don't tell anyone .... but he's my
favourite !
Bronte is
a handsome, laid back, black and white boy with personality plus.
He is a Canadian champion. At 13 years old (February 2010), he can still kick up
his heels and play ball with the best of them, or just throw it
around by himself. No matter, "
play is play " ... right
?
He can charm you to no end with his
woo, woo, wooing and
is always a favourite with visitors.
He has produced some
beautiful puppies for us. His last litter was born in 2000. |

Howling Pines' Past Breedings with Champion Sires !
When selecting the right sire for a litter with one
of our females, Howling Pines looks for the best of
the best. Champions in conformation. All health testing
passed and up to date. Excellent temperament. The
pedigrees are examined to make sure the match is appropriate.
The structure and soundness of the dog are considered -- solid
fronts, strong lines, nice gaits, handsome heads, good tails, and so
on.
Below are three great sires Howling Pines
has worked with in the past three years.
